The short version: we do not have your data.
Intentions has no account, no server and no analytics. Everything you type stays in a database on your phone. The rest of this page explains that in more detail, because a one-line privacy policy tends to worry people.

Nothing to sign up to, so there is no email address on file.

Your intentions are never uploaded anywhere by the app.
No analytics
No tracking SDKs, no crash reporters, no advertising identifiers.
What the app stores
Your intentions, their sizes, which day they belong to, how long they have been waiting in the Incubator, your available hours, and which coach you have chosen. All of it lives in a local database on the device, inside the app's own sandbox. We cannot read it, and neither can anyone else without your phone and your passcode.
Backups
Exporting a backup produces a file, and that file goes wherever you send it — Files, a message to yourself, your own cloud drive. Once it leaves the app it is governed by whoever you handed it to, not by us. If your iPhone is set to back up to iCloud, Apple's device backup may include the app's data as part of that; that is Apple's process and Apple's terms, and you can exclude the app in iOS settings.
Payment
The £2.99 yearly payment renews annually and is handled by Apple. We never see your card details, your name or your address. Apple tells the app whether the purchase exists; that is the whole conversation. Apple's own privacy policy covers that transaction.
Third parties
There are none in the app. No advertising networks, no data brokers, no third-party analytics. This website sets no cookies and serves its typefaces locally. It does not use analytics or advertising trackers.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct and delete your personal data. Since we hold none of it, the practical version is this: your data is already in your hands, and deleting the app deletes it. If you believe we hold something about you, ask, and we will look.
Children
Intentions is not aimed at children under 13. It collects nothing from anyone, which includes them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and anything material will be mentioned in the app's release notes rather than buried here.
